We believe that art enables children to express themselves and be creative; giving them a sense of achievement through the creation of their work. We encourage children to think critically whilst developing a greater understanding of art and design.

We learn skills that enable us to use a range of materials and we learn about great artists and their work.

We explore and develop different techniques and we learn about historical and cultural development. Cross curricular links are made wherever possible to support other areas of the curriculum.
