Summary of homework for Badger Class

Please encourage your child to read for a minimum of 3 times a week, and record this, with any comments in their reading record. Reading aloud to an adult is really important. Adult questioning and discussion of the book will deepen their understanding of the text. For children on the reading scheme please endeavour to replace their reading book at least once a week. For "free readers" please ensure that reading records are brought into school on Fridays so that staff can check the frequency of reading. 

Minimum of 3 x 15 minutes of spelling practice on https://play.edshed.com/en-gb. Please record this in reading records. Spellings are tested on Fridays.
